How to Apply Dirt Tape

shoulder. stretch the arm forward. anchor a strip of tape on the lower deltoid and wrap up along the back of the shoulder. stretch the arm backward. anchor another strip on the lower deltoid. tape up along the front of the shoulder.

 

neck and shoulder. stretch neck in the opposite from the injured shoulder. anchor a strip of tape on the upper part of the neck and wrap down to the shoulder. repeat the same for the opposite side. after applying, firmly rub the tape to set the adhesive.
neck. tilt head forward to stretch the back of the neck. apply a strip of tape about an inch to one side of the spine. apply a full strip to the opposite side of the spine. if the pain is severe, apply another strip of tape along the line of the affected area for added support.
wrist. stretch the arm by slightly bending the wrist backward. apply one strip from the anterior side of the wrist to the elbow. wrap around the wrist with a half strip leaving a little gap between the ends.
back. bend waist forward. anchor a strip of tape at the lower back right next to the spine and tape upward. apply a second strip to the opposite side of the spine. attach a third strip across the two tapes along the area of pain.
knee. bend the knee and anchor a strip of tape at the knee and wrap upward around the lateral side of the knee. repeat the same for the opposite side.
ankle. bend the knee and anchor the long strip on the outer side of the mid-leg. apply it downwards in a curved l-shape. apply the short tape around the ankle.
calf. bend ankle forward. anchor the y tape at the heel of the foot. wrap tails upward along the left and right side of the calf. for better effect, tape a second strip vertically along the center of the calf.
